What is ProfileSave?
A Windows desktop app for profile-based media sync and personal downloads. It runs on your PC with a
native C# engine—not a cloud storage or hosting service.
Do I need Python?
No. ProfileSave uses a native C# engine in-process. Python is not required at runtime.
Which sites work today?
Support is partial and expanding. Native extractors available today include Instagram,
X/Twitter, TikTok, Reddit, Tumblr, Pinterest, DeviantArt, VSCO, Pixiv, direct links, and a generic HTML
fallback. Some platform features are still being ported—check release notes for updates. We do not support “every site” or claim parity with third-party download tools.
Why cookies for Instagram or X?
Many platforms require an authenticated session you already have. Export a Netscape-format
cookies.txt from your browser, or use in-app WebView sign-in where supported. ProfileSave does
not provide accounts, store your passwords on our servers, or bypass paywalls.Why cryptocurrency at checkout?
We use NOWPayments so you can pay with BTC, ETH, XMR, USDT, and other supported coins—cross-border and
without traditional card processors. Cryptocurrency is a payment method only, not investment advice.
What if Android is not out yet?
Your one-time license includes entitlement to future ProfileSave apps we release (e.g. Android) at no extra
charge when and if we ship them. Use Windows today.
Affiliated with Instagram, X, or TikTok?
No. Third-party names are trademarks of their respective owners. ProfileSave is independent software.
Is downloading legal?
We provide software that runs on your device. Whether your specific use is lawful depends on your
jurisdiction, what you download, and platform rules. You are responsible for compliance. See our Disclaimer.
Do you store my downloads?
No. Files stay on your computer. We do not host user-downloaded media.
Can I get a refund?
See our Refund Policy: full refund within 7 days if your license key has not been activated; no change-of-mind refund after activation; fix or refund for our
technical failures within 14 days of first activation. EU/UK statutory rights may apply where not validly
waived.
