1. Controller

2. What we collect (website)

• Email address — to identify your order, send purchase confirmations (order summary and consents — not download links), and support requests.
• Payment verification data — transaction ID, amount, currency, and timestamp from our payment processor (NOWPayments). We do not require your legal name on-chain.
• Checkout consent records — timestamps of policy checkboxes you accept at purchase (stored with your order).
• Technical logs — IP address, browser type, pages viewed (server/Cloudflare logs, typically short retention).
• Optional analytics — if enabled (e.g. Cloudflare Web Analytics), aggregated usage without selling personal data.
• Suggestions form — message content and email if you provide it.

3. License server (activation)

When you activate ProfileSave, our license server at license.profilesave.com (separate from the marketing site) may record:

• license key identifier (hashed), email associated with purchase, order reference;
• activation timestamp, device/machine identifier supplied by the app, optional build fingerprint;
• IP address and user agent on activation (for fraud prevention, refund verification, and payment disputes).

We use this to enforce seat limits, revoke refunded licenses, and respond to support or dispute requests. Legal bases: contract performance and legitimate interests (security and fraud prevention).

4. What we do not collect (desktop app)

The ProfileSave application stores profiles, sync state, and downloads locally on your device. We do not receive your cookies file contents, downloaded media, or platform passwords on our servers.

5. Legal bases (GDPR, where applicable)

Contract performance (purchase and license delivery), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, dispute defense), consent (optional marketing if ever added), legal obligation.

6. Retention

Purchase and activation records: as long as needed for tax, disputes, and license support (e.g. 7 years where tax law requires). Server logs: minimal retention. Suggestion emails: until resolved or deleted.

7. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may use processors (e.g. Cloudflare, NOWPayments, email provider) under confidentiality. We may disclose data if required by law or to payment processors in a dispute you initiate.

8. Your rights

Depending on location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Contact support@profilesave.com. You may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

9. International transfers

If data is processed outside your country, we rely on appropriate safeguards where required.

10. Children

Not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
